Starting October 21, 2024, our parking lot reconstruction will require us to close our entrance from West Market Street to vehicles. 

For appointments at our health clinic for vaccines and reproductive health services please continue to use the Northwest Akron Branch Library driveway at 1730 Shatto Ave to park in front of the clinic. See map.

All other services (WIC, Environmental Health, Dental, Birth and Death Records), please find our temporary driveway by using the parking lot of the First Baptist Church of Akron at 1670 Shatto Ave. Access to SCPH will be maintained at the far end of the church parking lot

SCPH building entrances C and B will be open for clients. Entrance A will be closed.

Please use entrance B for WIC, Dental, as well as Birth and Death Records, and any appointments with Administration.
Please use entrace C for Environmental Health.

If you arrive off West Market Street by car, follow the detour signs to get to 1670 Shatto Ave to access our temporary driveway. Click for DETOUR map.

Guests arriving from the bus stops will be safely assisted to the building.

Instead of driving here, check out our online services at scph.org.  You can order Birth or Death records and have them mailed to your location by clicking HERE!
