Good Food Here is a nutrition education program geared toward improving healthy food options in the charitable food system (i.e. food pantries). The program features a color-coded system to organize and identify food into three categories based on the nutrition ranking of food: “choose often”, choose sometimes”, and “choose rarely”. The Good Food Here curriculum is based on nutrition guidelines developed by Healthy Eating Research. This program has been implemented at food pantries in Summit County to improve access to healthy food options.
